On Wednesday May 27, 2026, more than 20 LASO members and guests gathered for an in-person meet-up and information session during the Boston 2026 World Expo. LASO Operating Team member Paul Booth gave a brief presentation on the history, past and future meeting topics, and other activities of LASO. Attendees were given a specially prepared souvenir cover, with one of the two Boston 2026 commemorative stamps bearing the day’s show cancellation, as a memento of the occasion. Most of all, this was an opportunity for people who ordinarily only see each other in little boxes on computer screens to meet in person.
