Meetings

  1. Meeting participation is open to all. 
  2. Although organized and administered in the United States, stamp collectors from around the world are welcome.
  3. English is the primary language used during all meetings.
  4. Meetings are scheduled on a regular basis and made known using email blasts and publicized through a variety of philatelic and public outlets.
  5. Meetings take place using the Zoom application with a link provided for participants. All participants must pre-register to attend. 
  6. Participants must always minimally display first name and last initial in Zoom for identification purposes. [From the Zoom home screen, left click your face icon under the X in the upper right corner, slide your mouse down to the first bar listing your name, then slide left and left click “My Profile”.  You may need to log in again.  Click the blue “Edit” on the right side, then change “Display Name”.] 
  7. The Moderator has full control of technical meeting logistics and participation interaction.
  8. Participants stay muted until recognized by the Moderator to speak.
  9. Meetings typically run for an hour in length.
  10. Topics will vary and cover a broad range of collecting areas, including philatelic basics, “how to” tutorials, general and specialized presentations. Where feasible or appropriate, breakout groups will be used.  
  11. The focus of meetings is not for buying or selling; however, participants may contact one another to foster such exchanges.

Membership

  1. Participants may become an official “Club Member” by providing the organizers with their name, email address, town/city, state/province (if applicable), country and collecting interests if desired. 
  2. Club membership is free of charge.
  3. Club Members will be informed of upcoming meetings via email blasts. 
  4. Club Members may “opt in” to having their contact information released to other club members and/or posted on a web site to foster personal interactions.
