Bob Finnegan shared a calendar that the Spellman Museum had created for October 2026. It is a fun look at a month in the context of stamps in many of our collections. Take a look! https://learningaboutstamps.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Calendar.jpg
I was a bit surprised that Spellman celebrated October 20th with the Douglas MacArthur’s return to the Philippines. It was certainly an important event; however, it is also Mickey Mantle’s birthday!
